Magdalene G. Jones is a 16 year-old published author from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but is currently living in Wakanda, Africa. She began writing at 8 years old, and started her first book at 13.
Q: What do you love about writing? A: “So. Much. But it is my belief that stories are refuges for people who feel out of place, and really, that is what I strive to create with my work.”
Q: What’s your most recent published project? A: “The Kelpie of Ivory, book one in the Concrai Records was released on May 7th! It is a YA dark fantasy with themes of searching for hope in the darkest days.”
Q: What are you currently working on? A: “I am currently editing Summer Doesn’t Last Forever, an inspirational contemporary set at a TCK (third culture kid) summer camp in Greece. It is basically a story based around my life and the experiences of a TCK. Plus friendship and other stuff like that.”
