When did you first begin writing? How old were you?

JW: I have always enjoyed writing but I did not start taking it seriously until I was around 11 years old.

✨What do you love about writing?

JW: To put it simply, everything. I love the aspect of being able to get your words, thoughts and ideas down onto a page. It is a great way to express the real you. I also love the fact that your writing brings joy to other people and the fact that your own words could be helping anyone, even if you were not aware of it.

✨What type of writing do you produce?

JW: Poetry is my current focus, spreading awareness and helping people to be able to continue on. In addition to that, I also love to write historical fiction and fantasy books. I am yet to complete a novel, but I have several in progress.

✨What’s your most recent released project?

JW: I do not have any projects released. I do have two seperate poems published in different collections. One through a competition and another to benefit a charity.

✨What are you currently working on?

JW: My main focus is my poetry collection 'Keep Going'. It is a collection full of poems that motivate one to continue putting one step in front of the other. The first half of the book is full of more unfortunate poems but then as you continue to read on, they get more and more uplifting and as you finally put the book down, my hope is that people feel motivated.
