Frankie the Procrastinator is an unpublished author from Ontario, Canada. She has written creatively since she was 11 and has since gone on to write poetry and novels. Q: What do you love about writing? A: “I love that I can answer my "what if.." questions with a fictional story. I can put my feelings and ideas into words and make them beautiful. Writing has always been a way I can let out my feelings and make my own wishes come true.” Q: What type of writing do you produce? Why have you chosen this genre?
A: “I write poems and I'd say I write realistic fiction novels. I chose poetry because I can portray my feelings in a way that is short, but beautiful. I've chosen realistic fiction because I tend to write about my own experiences and challenges. I know that many people have been in the same situation and I want to show people that they're not alone and that it's okay to be unsure on what to do or expect. Through writing I can make this happen.”
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: “I am currently planning a novel about two girls who are close friends who are dealing with moving away. One of the girls wants to immediately let go of her old friendship, and the other girl wants to keep the friendship as long as possible, even if her friend is in a whole other city.”
