Brielle McLean is a 14 year-old unpublished author from Georgia, USA. She first began writing at 11 when her sister published her first book.

Q: What do you love about writing?

A: "There are many things I love about writing but I'd say the main appeal is creating the story. Seeing my characters come alive on the page and having the power to do whatever I want with them... Sounds borderline psycho, but trust me, it's actually really fun."

Q: What genre do you specialize in?

A: "I honestly want to write in all kinds of genres. Dystopian, fantasy, contemporary, thriller, the more the better. I think this is because–well, it's obviously because I have too many story ideas–but I also want to go on a journey with all my characters and expertise what they experiences with them."

Q: What are you currently working on?

A: "Here's a brief blurb I have of my story: On the verge of being permanently broken, a group of teenagers at risk of insanity must travel into a dimension no one has come out of before; but when they uncover deadly secrets about the dark world, they must let go of their flaws before the things living in the dimension get them first."
