Bala Roshini is a 15 year-old published author from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her writing has recently started to bloom due to her love of both creative literary and informative essays.
Q: When did you first begin writing? How old were you?
A: To be frank I discovered my talent of writing only at a later stage of my life. That is my present age 15.
Q: What do you love about writing?
A: The best and loveliest thing about writing is that it is a completely different world of happiness and peace where, when I enter it, gives me the hope for success, achievements, and more than anything makes me bold by expressing whatever I hold in my heart.
Q: What type of writing do you produce? Why have you chosen this genre? A: I am interested in producing essay write-ups because I feel more delighted when I write my own creative essays. To be specific I address mostly societal issues, some creative and funny stuff too which at last gives a message which deems a great importance to our life. I have chosen this genre as we are living in a world where people, media etc... are only specific about the contents which can be popularised but do not see whether it creates an impact in the society. We all give importance to TikTok-ers who do videos for 'TIME PASS' but we do not even consider things which are essential for our survival.
Q: What’s your most recent released project? A: My most recently released project is a creative essay, titled, "MY IDEAL ROAD-TRIP WITH FRIENDS" as a writing competition conducted worldwide by a blog page (chaos in thoughts). It is funny and relatable content which will be loved by youngsters. The essay is about the things that friends do while planning for a fun-filled trip.
Q: What are you currently working on? I am currently working to participate in various essay competitions conducted online during lockdown. By now I have participated in 11 essay contests and have been acknowledged too. My current work is "cleanliness- our attitude and behaviour". This is more of the content which is required in today's world. We, the people, must bring up our attitude into our behaviour to make a great impact. This essay also focuses on the use of Biodegradable sanitary napkins.
