Amber Skye, Contemporary Fiction Author

Amber Skye is a 14 year-old unpublished author from England, UK, who began to write when she was 8.

Q: What do you love about writing?

A: "Writing gives me the opportunity to create a world the way I see it and for me to share my story with the world, and its nice to show other teens that there's no age limit in a writing career."

Q: Why did you choose contemporary fiction as your primary genre?

A: "I like to write Y.A contemporary fiction because i enjoy reading it and it's a very relatable genre, you could easily be inspired by characters or tropes."

Q: What are you currently working on?

A: "My most recent project is my current WIP, the one I hope to get published! It's called Catching Pink Clouds and it's a coming of age novel. It deals with themes such as accepting yourself for who you are, racism and homophobia in the workplace and courage!"
